Update — October 7, 2026 2:14 AM CST: An Israir rescue flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv was canceled after failing to obtain regulatory approval from UAE authorities. The cancellation follows flydubai's suspension of flights to Israel due to a security disturbance on flight FZ1073. The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority announced on October 5, 2026, that it has concluded passenger transfer operations between Dubai and Tel Aviv.
Between October 2 and October 5, 37 alternative flights carried 7,479 passengers from Dubai International Airport to Ben Gurion Airport. The emergency operation was organized to accommodate passengers stranded by the temporary suspension of regular flydubai flights.
