The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) received the 'Best Sustainability Initiative' award at the 10th Abu Dhabi Sustainable Business Leadership Awards for its Sustainability Label program. The award ceremony was organized by the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Group (ADSG), an entity operating under the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD).

The award was presented by Dr. Shaikha Salem Al Dhaheri, Secretary General of the EAD, and received by Ali Mohamed Al Marzooqi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber. The awards program convenes participants and private-sector submissions from across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

According to the Chamber, the Sustainability Label functions as a practical tool for private enterprises to assess, benchmark, and improve environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance. The framework aims to assist firms in meeting evolving supply chain, investor, and market compliance demands.

Al Marzooqi stated that the recognition reflects efforts to turn sustainability concepts into measurable operational actions, adding that the Chamber plans to broaden the initiative's reach to include more businesses across the private sector.
