Iran approved 10 foreign investment projects valued at more than $130 million in the central province of Isfahan during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 21 to September 22, 2026), Trend News Agency reported, citing the Iranian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance.
Nasser Yarmohammadian, Director General of the ministry's Isfahan Province office, stated that foreign investment licenses were granted to investors from China, the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, Oman, and the Netherlands, as well as Iranian expatriates residing in Germany.
According to Yarmohammadian, the approved projects primarily span cotton yarn production, a solar power plant, carpet manufacturing, steel production, motor oil production, construction of a medical clinic, and point-of-sale (POS) terminal development.
Yarmohammadian noted that during the previous Iranian year (March 21, 2025 to March 20, 2026), 24 foreign investment projects worth approximately $263 million were approved in Isfahan Province, representing a 33% increase in planned foreign investment over the prior year. He said foreign investment supports capital mobilization, technology transfer, domestic job creation, and market expansion.
