UAE Minister of Foreign Trade Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi concluded a series of high-level trade and investment meetings during the 81st UN General Assembly on September 28, 2026, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

The ministerial discussions focused on expanding bilateral trade flows, mobilizing private development capital, and reinforcing cross-border commercial corridors.

During the assembly, Al Zeyoudi took part in investor roundtables organized in collaboration with the Business Council for International Understanding and the Presidential Court's Office of Development Affairs.

The sessions convened public institutions and international investors to facilitate cross-border capital mobilisation and support sustainable economic projects. WAM reported that these efforts form part of the UAE's ongoing strategy to widen global trade partnerships and improve market access for foreign enterprises.

UAE Enterprise AI Adoption Rises to 72 Percent, Joint Report Shows

Artificial intelligence adoption among UAE businesses increased to 72% in 2026, up from 53% in 2025, according to a joint study by the UAE Artificial Intelligence Office and Amazon Web Services (AWS). UAE Petrol Prices to Rise by Up to 16% in October 2026

UAE fuel prices will increase for the third consecutive month in October 2026 amid elevated global oil benchmark prices. Super 98 will rise to Dh4.40 per litre and Special 95 will increase to Dh4.28 per litre. Diesel will also rise by 11.6 per cent to Dh4.80 per litre.
