A high-level economic delegation comprising 15 leading women entrepreneurs from China has concluded an extensive two-week official visit to the United Arab Emirates. The tour was jointly organised by the General Women's Union (GWU) and the UAE Embassy in Beijing under the directives of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the GWU, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation.
According to Noura Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Secretary-General of the GWU, the visit reflects the strategic partnership between the UAE and China, embodying a national vision to empower women and strengthen their international economic leadership. Al Suwaidi stated that meetings and field visits held across various emirates established a platform for building sustainable cooperation and economic partnerships between the two nations.
The participating entrepreneurs represent commercial enterprises and business groups with total declared annual revenues of around 4.85 billion yuan. Their operational activities span diverse sectors, including industry, hospitality, food and food security, biotechnology, infrastructure, new energy, smart lighting, and investment services.
