A high-level economic delegation comprising 15 leading women entrepreneurs from China concluded an extensive two-week official visit to the United Arab Emirates, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM). The visit was jointly organised by the General Women's Union (GWU) and the UAE Embassy in Beijing.
Noura Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Secretary-General of the General Women's Union, stated that the tour was organised under the directives of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the GWU, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation. Al Suwaidi affirmed that the mission aligns with national efforts to support women's economic leadership and international presence.
The delegation represented companies and business groups with combined declared annual revenues of around 4.85 billion yuan. The participating businesses operate across industry, hospitality, food and food security, biotechnology, infrastructure, new energy, smart lighting, and investment services.
Throughout the two-week program, the delegation conducted meetings and field visits across various emirates, which Al Suwaidi noted established a foundation for sustainable cooperation and cross-border commercial partnerships between China and the UAE.
