The indefinite suspension follows widening airspace transit complications for Iranian aircraft in the region. The U.S. State Department reiterated that Iran remains under a Level 4 'Do Not Travel' advisory and urged American citizens to depart the country immediately. According to the advisory reported by Avi-Go, the warning is driven by heightened risks of unexpected commercial flight cancellations, airspace closures, and changing procedures at land border crossings.
