Record Participation at China–Arab States Expo Puts UAE in the Spotlight
The 7th China–Arab States Expo opened in Yinchuan under the theme “Innovation, Green Development and Prosperity,” featuring the UAE as Guest Country of Honor. Organizers highlighted an unprecedented international turnout and a broadened agenda across eight key sectors.
Xinhua said the four-day expo would host trade fairs and forums across eight sectors, including investment, technology transfer, modern agriculture, tourism, and IP—divided into six exhibition sections from clean energy to digital economy. Multiple official channels confirmed the UAE’s Guest-of-Honor status.
Participation figures were themselves a signal: coverage cited 7,600+ participants and 2,200+ enterprises and institutions from 75 countries and regions, marking the first time all 22 Arab states attended. Emirati officials used the platform to pitch advanced manufacturing, logistics, and green-tech partnerships.
By Expo close, Chinese media reported intended signings exceeding 100 billion yuan, spanning 40+ investment promotion events and 300+ cooperation outcomes—an indicator that deal flow is crystallizing around clean energy, industrial digitalization, and supply-chain localization.
