The UAE Ministry of Finance, in collaboration with the World Bank Group, convened a specialized public-private partnership (PPP) workshop in Dubai on November 4 and 5, 2026, according to the Emirates News Agency.

The workshop gathered representatives from federal and local government departments along with international experts to support the rollout of the UAE's PPP legal framework. Discussions addressed project identification, feasibility studies, risk allocation structures, and innovative financing methods designed to optimize the use of public funds.

The sessions follow the earlier adoption of the UAE's federal PPP Law in 2023 and the issuance of a comprehensive PPP Manual in 2024. During the event, the Ministry of Finance recognized 15 government officials who completed the accredited Certified Public-Private Partnerships Foundation (CP3P) program.
