Chinese curtain-wall contractor Fangda Group secured a SAR 1.15 billion ($306 million) contract through a joint venture on November 1, 2026, for the Qiddiya City stadium in Saudi Arabia, Gulf Construction reported.

The venue represents a signature sports and entertainment facility being constructed under the Saudi Vision 2030 economic diversification program. The package stands among the major structural contracts awarded for the Qiddiya development.

Under the terms of the agreement, the China-Saudi joint venture will handle the engineering, manufacturing, and installation of advanced exterior curtain-wall systems for the complex.

The transaction highlights the increasing involvement of specialized Chinese engineering and construction contractors in Gulf giga-projects.
