His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, received Zeng Jixin, Ambassador of China to the UAE, and Ou Boqian, Consul-General in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, at his palace in Saqr bin Mohammed City on October 30, 2026.

During the meeting, the officials reviewed the friendship agreement recently signed between Ras Al Khaimah and China's Fujian Province. They also discussed opportunities to broaden bilateral ties with Guangdong Province.

The talks examined cooperative initiatives across multiple economic sectors intended to advance commercial engagement and strategic coordination. Both sides emphasized Ras Al Khaimah's ongoing development initiatives and investment potential, while the Chinese diplomats noted the UAE and China's expanding strategic partnership.
