China's energy supply chain has demonstrated resilience amid escalating geopolitical conflicts impacting Gulf maritime trade routes and international energy flows, according to a report by the South China Morning Post.

Increased domestic natural gas output alongside expanded strategic storage facilities have helped cushion Chinese markets against global supply shocks originating from the Gulf.

Market analysts noted that Chinese energy buyers have adapted to Middle Eastern crude oil and liquefied natural gas export uncertainties by diversifying suppliers and relying on contracted volumes.

The report highlighted that while China remains heavily exposed to Persian Gulf energy transit routes, strategic reserves and domestic production have mitigated immediate supply disruption risks.
