Dubai-based luxury fragrance brand Kayali has officially entered the Chinese market through an exclusive agreement with its retail partner Sephora, Kagit reported citing WWD. The brand's products are now available in over 300 Sephora retail stores across China.
Founder Mona Kattan was directly involved in leading the market entry, aiming to reflect the brand's identity and spirit of 'sweet overload, joy explode' for local consumers. The launch represents a new commercial chapter and expansion milestone for the UAE-founded label.
Alongside Kayali's launch, the report noted broader regional beauty sector developments, including Korean brand 3CE's introduction of a new monochromatic blusher collection. Citing Hankyung, Reddal Korea CEO Per Stenius observed that large-scale market entries like Kayali's carry lessons for cosmetics brands, cautioning that total reliance on external distributors risks loss of control and highlighting the value of long-term branding strategies.
