Chinese adhesive and sealant manufacturer Kastar announced plans to present its silane-modified polymer (MS Polymer) sealant technology and manufacturing capabilities at The Big 5 Global 2026. The industry trade exhibition is scheduled to take place from November 23 to 26 at the Dubai World Trade Centre in the United Arab Emirates. Kastar stated it will occupy Booth 8E 331A in the International Pavilion within Za'abeel Hall 3.
At the event, the company will showcase two primary MS polymer formulations: the MS971 Multi-purpose MS Polymer Sealant and the MS973 Fast Dry MS Polymer Sealant. According to company data sheets, MS971 is formulated for window and door perimeter sealing, roofing, gutters, concrete joints, and metal building applications across substrates including aluminum, glass, PVC, wood, and concrete. The MS973 product is intended for sealing and flexible bonding in sheet metal fabrication, HVAC systems, and vibrating structures. Both lines feature low volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions, UV resistance, and paintability.
Kastar reported that its MS polymer formulations are developed using proprietary silane-terminated polymer synthesis technology. The company cited 28 years of manufacturing experience in adhesives and sealants, supported by an R&D team of 28 engineers and an intellectual property portfolio of 35 patents covering MS polymer and silicone-based technologies.
According to company information, Kastar operates production facilities across five Chinese provinces totaling approximately 150,000 square meters. Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Foshan, China, Kastar is a core brand of Kater Adhesive Industrial Co., Ltd., supplying building sealants, construction adhesives, and OEM/ODM manufacturing services to international clients.
