Fitch Ratings has assigned a final credit rating of 'A' to senior unsecured notes issued by Bank of China (Dubai) Branch under Bank of China Limited's USD 40 billion medium-term note programme, according to Traders Union and rating commentary.

The issue consists of CNY 2 billion in fixed-rate yulan bonds scheduled to mature in 2028. Net proceeds generated from the issuance are earmarked for general corporate purposes.

The final rating matches the expected 'A(EXP)' rating assigned on 15 October 2026, confirmed following the rating agency's review of final transaction documentation.

Fitch noted that Bank of China's Dubai branch operates as part of the same legal entity as the parent bank, meaning transfer and convertibility risks are not considered material. Consequently, the notes constitute direct, unconditional, unsecured, and unsubordinated obligations of Bank of China Limited.
