The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) and Experience Abu Dhabi have officially commenced the emirate's new events season, presenting a schedule of more than 40 large-scale spectacles running through early 2027. According to the tourism authority, the programme encompasses cultural initiatives, sports competitions, music festivals, family entertainment, and lifestyle events designed for international visitors and residents.

Among the marquee cultural milestones announced is the opening of Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, alongside the Public Art Abu Dhabi Biennial starting 23 October, and Culture Summit Abu Dhabi. The artistic programme will also see the debut of the inaugural Frieze Abu Dhabi art fair and NOMAD Abu Dhabi.

In sports and entertainment, the calendar features the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix scheduled for 3–6 December. The race weekend will host the Yasalam After-Race Concerts—featuring acts such as Lewis Capaldi, Alex Warren, Imagine Dragons, The Chainsmokers, and The Script—with an official after-party headlined by Anyma on 4 December. Additionally, the emirate will host Abu Dhabi Showdown Week and UFC events.

The winter programme further features the Liwa International Festival in the Al Dhafra desert this December, centered around the 300-metre Tal Moreeb dune and offering motorsport and family activities. DCT Abu Dhabi noted that the comprehensive schedule supports the emirate's broader economic goals and sustainable growth across the culture and tourism sectors.
