Eversheds Sutherland Becomes Approved Certification Body Under DIFC Regulation 10

Eversheds Sutherland has secured Approved Certification Body status under the Dubai International Financial Centre's Regulation 10 framework. Operating via its consulting arm Konexo, the firm is authorized to audit and certify entities developing or deploying artificial intelligence systems in the financial free zone. The framework focuses on AI governance, cyber resilience, algorithmic accountability, and data protection alignment.

Eversheds Sutherland announced that it has obtained Approved Certification Body (ACB) status under the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Regulation 10 framework.

DIFC Regulation 10 defines governance, algorithmic accountability, and risk management compliance benchmarks for organisations that develop and deploy artificial intelligence systems within the free zone.

The law firm will operate through its consulting division, Konexo, to perform formal readiness audits and issue assurance certifications.

According to the firm, the certification framework addresses AI governance policies, cyber resilience, data protection compliance, and digital risk controls, assisting commercial and financial entities in meeting mandatory DIFC regulatory requirements.
