According to Legit.ng, the UAE government has confirmed family sponsorship privileges available under its 10-year Golden Visa scheme. Primary Golden Visa holders are permitted to secure long-term residence permits for three specific groups: spouses, parents, and children of any age.
Unlike standard employment residence permits that enforce strict age limits on sponsored male dependents, the Golden Visa framework allows parents to sponsor adult children without age restrictions. The residence permits granted to sponsored relatives match the 10-year validity period of the primary visa holder.
Sponsored family members are also legally entitled to reside in the UAE until their residence permits reach natural expiration, even if the primary sponsor passes away.
In related regulatory details reported by Nikkei Asia, the UAE Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Authority published qualifying criteria for exceptional talent categories, covering culture and arts, scientific research, industry, sports, and specialised professional roles requiring a minimum monthly salary of AED 30,000. Additionally, The Economic Times reported that the investor pathway requires a property investment of AED 2,000,000 with no requirement for continuous physical presence.
