UAE Outlines Salary Requirements and Rules for Sponsoring Family Residence Visas

UAE immigration authorities have confirmed the minimum salary and housing requirements for expatriate residents seeking to sponsor family residence visas, according to Emirates 24|7.

Under the stated rules, expatriate workers must earn at least AED 4,000 per month, or AED 3,000 per month if accommodation is provided by their employer.

Eligible dependents under the sponsorship regulations include spouses, unmarried daughters, sons under the age of 25, and children of determination of any age.

The validity of dependent residence permits remains directly linked to the tenure of the principal sponsor's residency. In cases where the sponsor's residency expires or is cancelled, dependents are granted a six-month grace period to either regularise their status or depart the country.
