UAE and China Deepen Green Automotive Partnership with New Industrial Parks
ABU DHABI, UAE – October 15, 2025 – The UAE and China are taking a significant step forward in their commitment to sustainable trade with a new partnership between Abu Dhabi Ports Group and China’s SPG Yantai Port Group. The two entities have signed an agreement to develop green automotive industrial parks, a move that will create a new trade corridor for electric and other sustainable vehicles.
The partnership will establish a bilateral terminal network connecting the Asia-Pacific
Green Automotive Circular Economy Industrial Park in Yantai with AD Ports Group’s
automotive terminals in the UAE. This will create a seamless logistics chain for the
import and export of green vehicles, supporting the growing demand for sustainable
transportation in the region and beyond.
In addition to the industrial parks, the agreement also includes plans to explore a
China-Middle East-Africa automotive logistics corridor. This ambitious project aims to
transform regional vehicle trade by providing efficient and eco-friendly logistics
solutions. The new corridor will leverage AI-driven technologies and renewable energy
to minimize the carbon footprint of vehicle transport.
This collaboration is a testament to the strengthening economic ties between the UAE
and China and their shared vision for a more sustainable future. By combining the
UAE’s strategic location and world-class logistics infrastructure with China’s manufacturing prowess in the green automotive sector, the partnership is poised to accelerate the transition to a cleaner and more efficient global automotive industry.
