UAE and Turkey Bar Iranian Lenders and Halt Flights Amid Economic Squeeze
The United Arab Emirates and Turkey have barred Iran's two largest private lenders from operating and grounded Iranian airlines. The UAE also suspended all trade, commercial exchanges, and financial transactions with Iran following alleged missile strikes against maritime traffic and UAE territory. The UAE Foreign Ministry confirmed the measures will remain active until further notice.
