A high-level economic delegation comprising 15 prominent women entrepreneurs from China has concluded a two-week official visit to the United Arab Emirates, according to reports by Gulf Today and Emirates News Agency (WAM). The mission was jointly organised by the UAE's General Women's Union (GWU) and the UAE Embassy in Beijing.
The visiting delegation represented companies and business groups with total declared annual revenues of approximately 4.85 billion yuan. Their operational scope spans industry, hospitality, food and food security, biotechnology, infrastructure, new energy, smart lighting, and investment services.
Noura Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Secretary-General of the General Women's Union, stated that the tour was held under the directives of Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union. Al Suwaidi said the discussions and site visits across various emirates established a platform to build sustainable economic partnerships and support bilateral innovation.
During the two-week itinerary, the delegation held meetings with local business leadership and institutions across the emirates, including forums hosted alongside the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Ajman Chamber to explore joint ventures and trade collaboration.
