Dr Zeina Obeid is an experienced arbitration professional who has acted as counsel in significant international arbitration cases across the Middle East and North Africa region. She also serves as an arbitrator in various domestic and international arbitrations, both ad hoc and under institutional rules such as ICC, DIAC, LCIA, CRCICA, and BCDR. Dr. Obeid holds a PhD from the University Panthéon-Assas (Paris II) and an LLM from Columbia University in New York. She is the author of "Setting Aside Arbitral Awards in the Arab Countries" and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). Additionally, she is an accredited tutor and committee member of the CIArb UAE branch, a member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration & ADR, and co-vice chair of the IBA Young Lawyer’s Committee. She is qualified to practice law in both Beirut and Paris and is fluent in Arabic, English, and French.
She is currently a Partner at Obeid & Partners, where she practices in the Arbitration department.
